Principals

Dr. Jessica Karll - Principal

I began my career in education as a third-grade teacher at Prairie View Elementary in the Wentzville School District.  In 2010 I moved to Discovery Ridge Elementary and continued to teach third grade and in 2015 became the administrative intern. I served as the assistant principal at McKelvey Elementary in the Parkway School District for several years before joining Central Elementary in 2020.  I have my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Missouri- St. Louis, a master’s degree in both special reading and school administration from Lindenwood University, and a doctorate in educational leadership from Maryville University.  I am passionate about providing all students with a quality education and all teachers with instructional support.  I am humbled and honored each day to work together as a school family to meet the needs of each and every student at Central.

Laura Brewer - Assistant Principal

I have worked in the education field for over 30 years with 23 of those spent with the Francis Howell School District.  I have teaching experience in both Illinois and Missouri with a focus in the early childhood and primary years.  In Illinois, I had the opportunity to work in a Headstart program, a Pre-Kindergarten at Risk program, and an Early Childhood Special Education setting.  My career with FHSD began at Daniel Boone Elementary where I taught kindergarten for eight years. Today, I continue to serve FHSD families as one of the Assistant Principals at Central Elementary.

Breeya Perry - Interim Assistant Principal

I entered the field of education in the Riverview Gardens School District as a middle school social studies teacher and continued as an instructional coach at the high school level. In 2016 I moved to Special School District of St. Louis County to serve as a PBIS Facilitator and then as an MTSS Facilitator. During my tenure, I served as a leader in building systems for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support and success for all. I am honored to serve as the assistant principal at Central Elementary since 2026. I hold a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from the University of Missouri - Columbia, a master’s degree in educational administration from Lindenwood University, and a specialist’s degree from Arkansas State University in curriculum direction. I look forward to building relationships based on trust and creating inclusive, safe environments where every stingray feels a sense of belonging and staff feel supported.
